In a few days I will be leaving with a team for Kenya. We will be joining forces with over 75 Kenyan medics to hold our annual August medical camps. Again this year we are expecting to treat 6000 to 7000 patients. During this three-week ministry many lives will be saved, many will find relief from their suffering and many will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. You can’t imagine what a joy it is to be a part of helping so many people who do not have the means to help themselves.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to those who helped us to raise the $25,000 to cover the cost of these camps. More than 50 people sacrificed their time to make our annual rummage sale a smashing success. I also want to thank those who made donations to this vital ministry.

Please keep me and team in your prayers for the next three weeks. Pray especially for our health since our medical camps will be filled with some very sick people. Beginning on Friday I will be sending out a daily email giving the highlights of the events of each day. The things that God does are so wonderful and so inspiring.

Now that the expenses of our medical camps are fully covered my thoughts and prayers go to raising the money to complete the construction of our new orphanage is Kakamega. This facility will eventually be the home of 60 homeless children who we will care for as if they were our own. It will also be our base of operations in Western Kenya.

I want to ask you to consider making a donation to the completion of this work. We have raised close to $50,000 for this project but still need to raise $50,000 more.
